Nationwide Event Production

We Produce Corporate & Association Events Across the United States

Pro Connect Group is headquartered in Portland, OR — and we travel to your event, wherever it is. Our CTS-certified production team has produced corporate conferences, association annual meetings, general sessions, galas, and hybrid events in more than 40 cities across the country. Same crew. Same gear. Same production quality — in your city.

We are not a staffing company or local subcontractor network. When you book PCG, Justin Hamilton and the team fly to your event. You work with the same people from the first planning call through strike.

How PCG's National Travel Model Works

We are not a local office model. We are one dedicated CTS-certified production team that travels with your event — here's what that looks like:

1

Submit Your RFP

Tell us your event date, city, venue, and expected attendance. We respond with a production scope and estimate within 24–48 hours.

2

Pre-Production Consultation

Justin leads a production planning call reviewing venue specs, AV rider, run-of-show, rigging points, RF environment, and technical requirements — before we book a flight.

3

We Show Up Ready

Your CTS-certified PCG team arrives at load-in with production-grade gear and show-calls your event from setup through strike. No surprises on show day.

Frequently Asked Questions — National Event Production

Does Pro Connect Group travel to events outside of Portland?

Yes — nationwide travel is a core part of what PCG does. We have produced corporate conferences, association annual meetings, and special events in 40+ US cities. When you hire PCG for an out-of-state event, our CTS-certified production team travels to your venue. Travel costs are scoped into the production estimate upfront so there are no surprises.

Do you bring your own AV equipment or use local rental houses?

It depends on the event scale and logistics. For most productions, PCG ships production-grade gear from our Portland warehouse — this ensures quality control and eliminates the unknowns of pulling from unfamiliar local inventory. For very large productions requiring significant additional inventory, we coordinate with vetted local rental partners to supplement our kit while maintaining direct quality control over all primary production systems.

Can PCG handle association annual meetings and large national conventions?

Yes. Association annual meetings are a primary focus for PCG. We understand the specific requirements of association events: general session main stage, concurrent breakout rooms, awards ceremonies, exhibitor support, hybrid streaming for remote members, and the tight coordination that multi-day conventions require. We have produced association events at major convention centers including the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, McCormick Place, and Music City Center.

How far in advance should we book PCG for an out-of-state event?

For major conventions and multi-day conferences, we recommend reaching out 6–12 months in advance — especially for peak meeting season (September–November and January–March). For smaller corporate events, 60–90 days of lead time is typically sufficient. Contact us early even if your event details are still being finalized — we can hold dates and work through the scope as your planning progresses.

Why hire a Portland-based company for an event in another city?

Because you get a consistent, CTS-certified production team — not a different crew in every city. National hotel AV contractors (Encore, PSAV) staff locally, which means you may work with a different team every event. PCG brings the same people and the same production standards to every market we serve. You also get independent representation: we work for you, not for the hotel, which means your AV budget goes further.

Does PCG work with venues that have exclusive in-house AV contracts?

We help clients navigate outside vendor policies at all types of venues. Most major convention centers and non-hotel venues allow outside AV vendors without restriction. For hotel venues with exclusive in-house contracts (common at Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt properties where Encore operates), we help you negotiate outside vendor access through your room block contract. We can advise on this during pre-production consultation.
